This past week Michael spoke about having a scripture verse always ready to recite; to use as your very own verse in times of trouble and in rest. I’d like to share many years before walking more intimately with the Lord as I do today; I had a scripture verse come across my heart like none other; I would take it and actually recite it often because it gave me solace and assurance. It actually was the only bible verse I could remember and recite to anyone at the drop of a hat. My precious truth, my love song was out of Jeremiah 17:14 “Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for You are my praise”. Even in good days when I was feeling well, this verse rolled off my tongue with much conviction and grace. Years after trying to memorize other verses, this still remained on my heart. Seven years later, growing stronger and wiser in my Faith, I fell ill and was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm…….I repeated again Jeremiah 17:14…..and it was finished. I received a perfect healing that day and from that point on……I was able to move to other scripture and memorize with ease. Michael was correct, carrying God’s word in your heart is so important for our livelihood. As for me, it was prophetic and in the fullness of time, it was fulfilled. I am so grateful for the teachings I can embrace because I am part of the Strike Force Prayer calls. Shalom
